Mr. Selvin Uthaman

Chief Business Officer

Mr. Selvin Uthaman is an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience specifically in Affordable Home Loans, SME Loans, Retail Operations, Business development and Financial product management. In his last role he served as the National Sales Head for Affordable Home Loans at Axis Bank. Selvin has a proven track record of setting strategic direction, driving sales and enhancing business margins though meticulous long-term planning. He has also held significant positions at India Infoline Finance Ltd. (IIFL) as the National Sales Head (SME Loans), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., and Dewan Housing. His expertise spans across various retail asset products including home loan, loan against property, education loan, business loan, personal loan and loan against securities.
Selvin has completed a Chief Executive Officer Certification from IIM Lucknow and a General Management Programme from IIM Ahmedabad, an intermediate G1 certification from the Indian Institute of Company Secretary alongside a B.Com degree from Mumbai University. His academic background complements his extensive professional experience, enabling him to lead with both strategic insight and practical know-how.

Mr. Ripudaman Bandral

Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Ripudaman Bandral, possess around 25 years of experience in the field of Business Development, Strategic Planning, Credit and Risk Assessment, Client Relationship Management and Team Building. He was previously associated with ICICI Bank Ltd, HDFC Ltd., Indiabulls Home Loans, Transamerica Apple Distribution Finance and Trident Group.

He has done Masters in Finance & Control from Punjabi University, Patiala.

Mr. Surendra Kumar Sihag

Chief Collection Officer

Mr. Surender Kumar Sihag has overseen an increase in collection efficiency by reducing delinquent accounts and non-performing assets. He is a law professional with proven skills in implementing technique and procedures for maintaining end to end collections including legal filings.

He started his career with law firm initially, and then he joined Cholamandalam in year 2004. His stint before Aavas was with Bajaj Fin, where he promoted to position of National Head Collection within 7 years of short span of time.

He holds a Law degree from the University of Rajasthan and Master of Business Administration from Periyar University.

Mr. Anshul Bhargava

Chief People Officer – Human Resource

Mr. Anshul holds certification in Business Management from IIM Calcutta. He has diverse experience of about 34 years in multiple leadership positions in the Indian army and financial sector. Mr. Bhargava has hands on experience in managing change, transforming businesses and accelerating business growth. Having contributed immensely to the people agenda, He has been recognized through multiple coveted awards. Prior to joining us, he was Director (Human Resource), Power System Operation Corporation Limited and Chief People Officer, PNB Housing Finance Ltd.

Ms. Jijy Oommen

Chief Technology Officer

Ms. Jijy Oommen is an acclaimed technology leader in the Financial Services and Fintech space having over two decades of experience in building, managing and transforming robust and scalable technology architectures, business systems, digital assets, operational frameworks and high performing teams. She is M.Tech in Computer Science and MBA in Information Systems. Jijy is an alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology & Science and has been trained and certified in Advanced Project Management from IIM Kozhikode and Project Management Institute – USA. She is also trained in Strategic Management by IIM Bangalore, Cyber Security by Data Security Counsel of India and Fintech by Warton Business School.

She has spent majority of her career in retail financial services institutions and made notable contributions in Digital Transformations, building systems for Service Delivery and Customer Experience, implementing Enterprise Applications, Technology Infrastructure & Cloud Transformations, IT Security, Data & Analytical Platforms, Hyper automations and IT Governance & Operations. Prior to joining Aavas, she worked with leading brands such as Manappuram Finance, Kinara Capital, Bajaj Capital and Wonderla Holidays in the capacity of CIO/CTO roles. She has been conferred with multiple industry awards and spoken in several forums. She is an avid social enthusiast, writer and a promoter of diversity and inclusion.

Mr. Rajaram Balasubramaniam

Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Analytics

He is a Chartered Accountant and holds 37th all India rank and also holds Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has over 21 years of experience in the field of consumer banking covering risk management, product and P&L management, sales and finance. Prior to joining Aavas, he was associated with Citibank, having worked in UAE, Egypt and US and with Standard Chartered Bank in India.

Mr. Rajeev Sinha

Executive Vice President- Operations

Mr. Rajeev Sinha is leading Operations at Aavas. Through his association duration, he has helped established many operational efficiency operations including digital disbursements, regional center processing and now alternate channel development.

Mr. Rajeev Sinha is a Change Management expert with proven track record in the field of banking and financial services industry with over 19 years of hands-on experience. Prior to joining Aavas, he was associated with Cointribe Technologies, Indiabulls Housing Finance as National Operations Head. Before that he was associated with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited, in various roles.

Rajeev has a Degree in Physics and holds a Certificate in Customer Relationship Management from IIM Ahmedabad, EE.

Mr. R Venkatesh

Head of Internal Audit

He has over 26 years of work experience in the banking and financial services sector, of which 16 years have been in governance, risk and control roles, spanning across Standard Chartered Bank, American Express, HDFC Bank, Fullerton, and Aditya Birla Finance Ltd, the last previous role being Head Internal Audit at Aditya Birla Finance Ltd for six and half years before joining Aavas. In his career across diverse segments of Asset businesses across credit cards, corporate lending, personal and business loans, mortgages, digital lending products, rural and micro-credit products, he has implemented several transformational changes related to internal process controls, operational risk framework, internal financial control framework, compliance monitoring processes, and Risk Based Internal Audit. He holds a Master’s Degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.
