Mr. Manu Yeshpal Singh

Mr. Manu Yeshpal Singh is the Chief Executive Officer of Aavas. He is an accomplished business leader with over two decades of experience in retail lending, housing finance, and consumer banking, spanning Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Capital, ICICI Bank, and Tata Motors. His career reflects a unique blend of operational depth, strategic leadership, and P&L accountability across diverse financial products. Prior to leading Aavas, he served as the President & Business Head for Housing Finance at Kotak Mahindra Bank. In this capacity, he oversaw asset franchise of ~₹70,000 crore, steering both scale expansion and bottom-line profitability across the secured lending spectrum. His performance led to two promotions within a five-year window, culminating in his senior elevation in 2024. In an earlier role at Kotak, he led the Salaried Personal Loans business, scaling the portfolio threefold from ₹4,000 crore to ₹12,000 crore while preserving exceptional credit quality.

He began his rapid career ascent at ICICI Bank, where he became the youngest Assistant General Manager (AGM) while managing product structures and overseeing ~₹3,000 crore in monthly inventory funding to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for the two-wheeler division. He holds an established professional foundation initiating from his early career tenure with Tata Motors. He spent over a decade at Tata Capital, building and leading substantial consumer portfolios spanning vehicle loans, home equity, mortgages, and commercial vehicle finance. His final mandate at the firm involved managing an ~₹8,000 crore Personal and Business Loans book, alongside heading multi-channel product development, institutional alliances, and digital-enablement architectures.

He holds degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical).

Mr. Ripudaman Bandral is the Chief Business Officer of Aavas, having transitioned into this role following his successful tenure as the Aavas’s Chief Credit Officer. He is a financial service professional with over 28 years of extensive experience spanning business development, strategic planning, credit and risk assessment, client relationship management, and cross-functional team building. His rich professional trajectory includes successful tenures with ICICI Bank Limited, HDFC Bank Limited, Indiabulls Home Loans, Transamerica Apple Distribution Finance, and the Trident Group.

He has done Masters in Finance and Control from University of Punjab, Patiala.

Mr. Ghanshyam Gupta is the Interim Chief Financial Officer of the Aavas. He has more than 20 years of experience and associated with Aavas, since 2017. He has expertise in financial planning & strategy, budgeting, MIS, investor relations, and business growth initiatives. Strategic partner to leadership, driving profitability and performance improvement. Prior to Aavas, he was associated with Vaibhav Global, Tata Technologies Limited and Capgemini India Private Limited.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds masters degree in computer application.

Mr. Nitin is a Seasoned credit and risk leader with over two decades of experience driving scalable lending operations, digital credit transformation, and strategic portfolio growth across leading NBFCs and private banks. Proven expertise in launching and managing high-yield retail and secured lending verticals, building high-performance credit teams, and implementing AI/ML led decision-making frameworks to enhance risk intelligence and reduce turnaround times. Recognized for consistently delivering portfolio profitability, regulatory compliance, and market expansion through data-driven governance, operational excellence, and innovation in credit infrastructure. He has held senior leadership positions at Shriram Finance Limited, Yes Bank Limited and Tata Capital Limited with extensive experience in credit underwriting, risk management, portfolio growth and lending business transformation

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and holds Bachelor degree in Commerce (B. Com) from Delhi University.

Ms. Jijy Oommen is the Chief Technology Officer of Aavas. She has over 27 years of rich experience in the retail Financial Services and Fintech space in building, managing, and transforming Robust and Scalable Technology Architectures, Business Systems, Digital Assets, AI & Hyper-automations, Operational Frameworks and High Performing teams. She has previously worked with Bajaj Capital, Manappuram Finance, Wonderla Holidays and Kinara Capital. She has played an instrumental role in transforming the entire technology ecosystem of the Company and built a significant digital, data and AI-powered automation capabilities. She champions gender diversity and inclusion initiatives in the Company and is a recipient of several industry recognitions.

She is a Computer Science graduate with M. Tech in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, MBA from SMU, PMP from Project Management Institute – USA and trained in Strategic Management from IIM Bangalore and Advanced Project Management from IIM, Kozhikode.

Mr. Rajaram Balasubramaniam is the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Analytics of Aavas. He has more than 23 years of experience in the field of consumer banking covering risk management, product and P&L management, sales and finance. Prior to joining Aavas, he was associated with Citibank, worked in UAE, Egypt and US, and with Standard Chartered Bank in India.

He is a Chartered Accountant and holds 37th all India rank and also holds Degree of Bachelor’s in Commerce.

Mr. Sharad Pathak serves as the Chief Compliance Officer of Aavas, bringing over 14 years of robust experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, secretarial practices, and corporate governance. He leads the compliance strategy of the Aavas, ensuring strict adherence to the regulations prescribed by the National Housing Bank (NHB), Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other statutory bodies. He is associated with Aavas since its incorporation and he previously served as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Aavas. Prior to joining Aavas, he was associated with Star Agri Warehousing & Collateral Management Limited as its Company Secretary, where he managed diverse corporate secretarial obligations and regulatory assignments.

He is a fellow member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds Degree of Bachelor’s in Commerce and Law from the University of Rajasthan

Mr. Ashish Gautam is the Chief Customer Experience Officer of Aavas. He brings over 23 years of rich experience in Operations Management System, System implementation, Digital transformation, Machine Learning & Automation, Vendor Management, Business Development, Client Servicing and People Management in Banking/ Financial Services Sector. Prior to joining Aavas, he served as the Head of Operations at Fedbank Financial Services Limited. His extensive professional trajectory also includes successful senior tenures with AU Small Finance Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Barclays Finance, Indiabulls Housing Finance, EDA Rural Systems Pvt. Ltd., and the Iconic Hotel Rambagh Palace.

He holds a Degree of MBA in Finance from Indian Institute of Forest Management.

Mr. Bharat Chamanlal Thakkar is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with over 34 years of extensive leadership experience in banking, financial services, risk management, governance, compliance, finance, and audit.

He possesses deep expertise in internal audit, corporate governance, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, operational risk management, business continuity management, vendor risk oversight, and control frameworks across banking, NBFCs, capital markets, asset management, insurance, and investment banking businesses. During his tenure with the Kotak Mahindra Group, he has served in key leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Head - Operational Risk, and Head / Co-head of Internal Audit, providing strategic oversight on risk, finance, regulatory affairs, and governance matters.

Mr. Thakkar has an extensive experience in interacting with regulators, Board & its Committees, and senior management teams, and has successfully led regulatory inspections, large-scale audit programs, merger integration initiatives, risk transformation projects, and automation of governance and control processes.

Mr. Punit Purushottam Agarwal is the Interim Chief Risk Officer of Aavas, having 13 years of experience, including 9 years at Aavas. He has experience across credit risk, market risk, sales, and risk management in retail lending – home loans, construction loans, and LAP. He Known for balancing business growth with strong risk frameworks and governance.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Mr. Saurabh Sharma serves as the Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of Aavas, heading the Company’s secretarial and Corporate Governance functions. He has been associated with Aavas since September 2021 and brings approximately eight years of comprehensive, professional experience in navigating corporate law, compliance, capital market regulations, and board-level governance. Prior to joining Aavas, he has previously worked with H.G. Infra Engineering Limited (a leading listed entity) and Generation Four Engitech Limited.

He is a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and Law.
